My area of research is security, privacy, and access control. I also look at security in AI applications with current research in improving security and privacy of the AI models as well as of the data used for the training of said models. I also teach cloud computing which includes an introduction to big data analysis and supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms. Part of my outreach activities has included designing activities using robots and other interactive media to introduce networking concepts to K-12 students visiting the CS department for an introduction to the STEM field.
