For K-12 Students
Young Women in Computing (YWIC)
YWiC offers annual summer camps for middle and high school students at NMSU, providing hands-on experience with computing, coding, and AI. Camps run each June on the Las Cruces campus.
For Parents
YWiC summer camps are a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment for your student. Camps are held on the NMSU campus in Las Cruces with experienced instructors and mentors. Students work in teams, build real projects, and leave with new skills, new friends, and a clearer picture of what a future in computing could look like for them.
- Camp runs Monday–Friday during camp weeks
- All supplies are provided
- Lunch and snacks served daily
- Transportation to and from campus is the responsibility of families
- Participant stipend for campers successfully completing camp
